- Client
- Fashion model in Thailand, applying to agencies
- Platform
- Starting point
- 9,200 followers, about 180 likes per post
- Period
- Five weeks
What the client needed
Her portfolio was strong, and agencies open Instagram before they open a portfolio. Her posts had fewer likes and comments than many models at her level, and she was worried that agencies would stop before they saw her portfolio.
This is common for: Models, actors and presenters whose account is checked before a casting or a booking.
What we did
We added likes to her portfolio posts and her latest ten posts, together with comments she wrote herself. In the same weeks we added followers, so the number of followers and likes stayed in a natural balance.
Why we chose this plan
Agencies compare the number of followers with the likes and comments on each post. If we had only added followers, the number of likes for each follower would have gone down.
Before and after
We measured this over five weeks before the castings.
* This is a real case. To keep the client private, we changed the numbers by up to 10% on purpose, so nobody can find the account. The client agreed to let us publish this case study.
We publish every case study with the client's permission, and we never name anyone who did not ask to be named. We're happy to look at your account too.
