What the client needed
Many people watched his series on television, but his TikTok had fewer followers than people expected for an actor they knew. Brands and casting teams often look at TikTok first, and he wanted his account to show the audience he already had.
This is common for: Actors, presenters and other public figures who are well known on television and newer on TikTok.
What we did
We made a twelve month plan. Every month we added followers slowly, and views and likes on his new clips, with a little more in the weeks when a new episode came out. He kept posting his own clips from the set, and our plan followed his posts.
Why we chose this plan
Going from 0.8M to 2M followers in a few weeks would not match how his account had grown before. Over twelve months, the growth followed his series and his own posts, so it looked natural.
Before and after
We measured this over twelve months.
* This is a real case. To keep the client private, we changed the numbers by up to 10% on purpose, so nobody can find the account. The client agreed to let us publish this case study.
We publish every case study with the client's permission, and we never name anyone who did not ask to be named. We're happy to look at your account too.
